Png Image Black. I am experiencing an issue with all transparent png files copied from chrome and pasted into photoshop cs6. It looks great in applications and websites and in illustrator but when i view it in windows or use it to be a desktop background the transparency becomes a black background.
Hey i have the same issue except that i m on a windows 10 computer using illustrator to save an image with a transparent background. Open the settings app. Import a png get a grayscale png.

The background is black rather than transparent. Does anyone know of a fix or work. Png black background in file explorer fix before you try the fixes below make sure you re not mistaking a black background with the dark theme for file explorer. These images are one i created and exported using save for web.
